Do Anti-Wrinkle injections work?

Despite what you’ve read, anti wrinkle injections are neither a chemical or a poison. When the toxin is injected into a muscle, it’s binds to the receptors on the muscles, and blocks the signals that go to the brain telling it not to move or contract. As a result there is an immediate smoothing of the mild to moderate lines of the skin, deeper lines may still be visible but will appear softer.

Are Anti-Wrinkle injections painful?

While everyone has a different sensitivity level, most people find that there's only mild discomfort associated with having this treatment. Extremely fine needles are used and the treatment is over in minutes.

What will I look like after my treatment?

Your skin may look red, raised and slightly swollen at the injection points, however this only lasts up to 24 hours. Bruising is not typical, but it can occur. The full effects of ant--wrinkle injections can be seen after 14 days.
What do I do before my treatment?
